Swimming lessons make parents complacent

A water safety expert is researching whether swimming lessons for babies and toddlers put children’s lives at risk. No child is drown-proof but early swimming lessons does increase their level of safety. At Swalings we teach mother and baby swimming lessons and swimming lessons for children in the Poole and Bournemouth area. As a swimming school we continually educate the children about the dangers of water and the need to be vigilant at all times. When talking to our parents we also remind them to be vigilant with their children when going to swimming pools as a family or going on holiday. Structured swimming lessons is a life skill that needs to be practiced with structured progressive lessons.
