A recent swimming article about a lady learning to swim wondered why her back and neck ached whilst swimming? it is important that a swimmer has correct neck back alignment when learning to swim. Many people get told by learn to swim for health reasons or exercise to loose weight or get fit but do not understand that if you are taught incorrectly you can do more damage than good. We teach Shaw method swimming that teaches clients correct neck and back position in the water. Residential intensive swimming courses is one way of learning these new skills to a better lifestyle. We also teach parent and baby classes and children swimming lessons at various venues in Poole and Bournemouth.
