Water Safety talk at Beavers

Last night Swalings gave a water safety talk to an eager bunch of Beavers in Poole. The talk covered simple things not to do around water at the beach, where to swim and the dangers to look out for. Safety in and around swimming pools was also discussed.
The importance of having swimming lessons from an early age and to carry on until you have mastered all strokes and learnt life saving skills in the water is important. The beavers went home with a water safety leaflet each to discuss with their parents and family.
