SACRAMENTO – A 10-month-old baby boy is struggling for life at a Sacramento hospital after being found submerged in a backyard swimming pool Monday afternoon.
This is a sad case indeed of the importance of supervising young children of all ages around water and in this case a home pool.
It is important that children as young as two months are introduced to the water for structured swimming lessons and parents are taught how to hold the child in the water.
